My psychotherapy training is within Integrative Transactional Analysis, though I do have many other areas of interest which I draw upon within my therapeutic practice. My therapeutic approach is tailored to meet individual needs.
"The aim of integrative psychotherapy is to provide the quality of therapeutic relationship of understanding and skill that facilitates the client becoming conscious of what was previously unconscious, so that he or she can make aware choices, be intimate with others, maintain good health, engage in everyday tasks of life without preformed restrictions"
- Dr Richard Erskine
I currently have a private practice in Bolton and work at The Manchester Institute of Psychotherapy in Chorlton, offering psychotherapeutic counselling. I have trained in advanced clinical psychotherapy. I am a registered member of BACP and abide by their code of ethics, policies and procedures.
I also have a Masters degree in Youth and community work.
I've had an incredibly rewarding career, working within emotional health and wellbeing services, family services, drug and alcohol treatment services, charities and community services.
I have worked with a variety of individuals and families within different settings, to support them to overcome their problems, over the past 15 years.
I love helping people to feel better about their lives and supporting them through difficult times.
